Wonderful!

This was a wonderful spot. The house is large enough to accommodate two families without feeling cramped, and Casa De Campo is relaxing and beautiful. The housekeeper is friendly and keeps everything going. We really enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing Retreat in Tres Palmas Golf Villa, Dominican Republic

We love this open, well-maintained villa! Upon entry, you feel a sense of grandness with the beautiful wood accents, further enhanced by the surrounding views of the golf course. The spacious great-room is central to the well-equipped kitchen and four bedrooms (each with its own full bathroom/ generous shower area!) . The refreshing pool, which is cleaned each day, is a welcome oasis that you cannot resist. Ensuring the ultimate spoiling experience is a very SWEET, attentive house keeper who cooks breakfast and lunch, does laundry, and keeps everything clean.(Yes, you truly do relax here!) It is perfect that this golf villa location is convenient to golf (of course!), tennis, the beach, the marina, the restaurants and the shops. We enjoyed walking the paved walkways among lovely homes and landscaping. And no matter what time of day, we felt safe and secure. Last, but not least, the owners, Doug and Gloria, are wonderful people who could not be more accessible, knowledgeable, and accommodating. My daughter and her new husband are now planning a DR trip and are eagerly looking forward to their stay here. I'd definitely be trying to tag along if it weren't their honeymoon!

Spring break 2015

My college roommate and I decide to enjoy what La Romana has to offer our families (teenage daughters). The accommodations were very nice and Anna our maid kept everything very tidy, organized and clean. The guys golfed and the ladies all enjoyed the beach and Marina shopping. The courses were very nice and I recommend taking the resort boat and spending one day at Catalina Island. Strolling through Altos de Chavon makes for a fun evening. We are very please with our stay and the attention we received from the owners. This is a great destination for a golfers sabbatical. I would repeat.

Definitely worth your stay here!

I loved DR from the moment I arrived to the Airport (Punta Cana Airport), which is about 50 minutes from Casa de Campo. As we arrived to Casa there is a check-in area where you can get your pass to enter the resort. The people that work at Casa are very friendly, great hospitality overall! Everything is conveniently close and we had a golf cart as means of transportation in the villa. The house is spacious and comfortable with all amenities (wi-fi, swimming pool, golf courses, etc). It’s close to the private beach that also has a restaurant/bar and servers to take your order if you want to sit, relax and enjoy a beautiful sunset. There is a community pool at a walking distance from the villa and a pool in the house. The main living room is large with plenty of room for a big group of people. My stay here was awesome! We were a big group and never felt crowded. Doug and Gloria are very nice and welcoming! Gloria arranged massages and facials for all of us and I am very pleased with the service. Anna, the housekeeper is attentive and sweet! She prepared breakfast for us and cooked some delicious fried yucca! The outside area overlooks The Links golf course, which I thought it was pretty awesome! And not too far you can also see the ocean. The villa is everything you cold ask for and more! I will highly recommend this villa and would definitely be coming back!

Awesome Villa in Casa de Campo resort.

I stayed there with a group of friends right after Thanksgiving for a long weekend. What an awesome place! Anna the cook was great - making gourmet breakfast and a DR local dinner sever nights. Great location. Beach club is within walking and classy. Incredible sunsets. The villa is spacious and offers many seating areas for reading, relaxing or just conversations. Will definitely come back to this place. Beautiful grounds and stars at night are amazing. Bedrooms all ave their own full baths. I liked the artwork too. Would be a great romantic getaway or place for a golf trip. Great view of fairway from rear yard. Loved the hammock for snoozing. Thank you so much!

Gateway to Paradise

This golf villa is conveniently located on the Links course at Casa de Campo. It was a delight to be able to walk to the beach and watch the sunset. In addition to the dipping pool in front of the house, there's a larger community pool that is less than a 2-minute walk away and is rarely full of people. The interior of the villa is beautifully furnished and one of the rooms has an outstanding outdoor shower. Ana was a wonderful addition to the place as she prepares breakfast and other delicious meals upon request. Doug and Gloria were totally approachable about anything I needed during my stay. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and I hope to stay here again soon!

Perfect Experience..

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Golf Villa in April 2014. We could not have been happier with our experience, and we are sure to use this rental again on our next trip to Casa de Campo. Right from the start, Gloria made the process seemless, and was excellent at responding to my questions efficiently via email, and accomodating requests of our big group of 8 adults. We had actually booked another luxury villa 5 months prior with a rental broker, only to find out TEN DAYS before our trip that the villa had been sold and we no longer had our reservation. I contacted Gloria, and within 24 hours, I had this villa booked and paid for through the website, like a hotel... In addition, she offered services like food shopping prior to our arrival, and the option to pickup from the airport, and full access cards to the resort. She made things so easy. The house was lovely, well equipted, and furnished. In particular, the beds were quite comfortable. It is located on the Links course, which makes it central to the beach, hotel, and golf courses. One thing that was missing was a large sprawling pool and outdoor lounge area; it does include a small dipping pool and two lounge chairs. However, we were so active during the day, and had full access to the hotel pool, tennis courts, and Minitas beach that we did not miss it at all. Oh! and the at home massages that were arranged were a big plus! Ana, the housemaid and cook, was the best thing about the rental. Communication was a tiny challenge without English, but with our limited Spanish we were able to communicate our needs fine. She was so nice, and trustworthy, prepared excellent breakfasts every day and lunch on request, and we would come home to our clothing washed, folded, and room organized everyday! She was a gem.

Perfect In Every Way

This Villa really does have it all. First, the Casa de Campo resort complex is the place to be. Great location at the end of a quiet street, beautiful golf course right in your back yard, and a short walk to the beach. Lots of open living space decorated perfectly continuing the serene feel with just the right amount of island color. Two sides of the villa have floor to ceiling glass, opening to the wrap around patio. We were invited to the villa by friends and spent 2 great evenings on the patio watching the sunset and enjoying the perfect Dominion Republic weather. We would stay at this villa on another trip.

Perfect home for a perfect vacation!

What a beautiful, open house...lots of room and a fantastic location. A great plunge pool was the first thing we used after a day in the sun, followed by drinks made with fresh coconuts that were left for us at the front door. The back patio sits between the 16th and 17th holes of the Links golf course, where we hung out and watched the sun set over the ocean in the evening. Walking to the 16th green for putting contests with drinks in the evening wasn't too shabby either. :-) The house is centrally located between the main resort pool/bar and the beach, which encouraged me to walk to both, rather than take a car (less than 10 minutes walk). Ana (the maid) was great...what a treat to have fresh laundry done every single day, and to have meals made...wow. Did I mention how great it is to have fresh laundry every day? :-) If I had known then I wouldn't have packed as much...next time I'll travel lighter. Furniture in the house is new and lots of places for everybody to hang out -- couch in front of the TV, chaise lounges either indoor or outdoor, outdoor patio sofa, by the plunge pool...it's just a great set up. Of course the weather was amazing the entire time...don't exactly know how the place stays so beautiful and green, as we only had about 30 minutes of rain all week. I'll definitely be back!

Casa de Campo villa

We chose this villa after reviewing and emailing with maybe 5 VRBO properties for Casa de Campo. Gloria was the ONLY owner who continued to be available via email for ALL of my inquiries (and there were a ton!). I have kids and like to know exactly what to expect when I arrive at a destination; i do not like travel surprises. She never lost patience with me! She and her husband gave restaurant suggestions and tee times at the golf course. She arranged airport transfers and a golf cart. The cart was not exactly Indy 500 worthy and we did have to have the boys push (lol!), but this wasn't truly a big problem. The house was lovely. 4 bedrooms with bathrooms. Showers were spacious. Fans and air available. The main area is spectacular at the end of the day with the sun going down; there is a tee box right outside so you can see the players on the 16th. But never busy or loud. THe housekeeper was great; did laundry every day, ironed when asked, and cooked when asked. We had a pre order for groceries which was there when we arrived. Plunge pool chilly but the lounge chairs had a ton of sun all day so i sat out a lot in the morning. The villa is located maybe half way between the main hotel and Playa Minitas which was perfect. We took the cart to La Marina which was maybe 15 minutes away. I would stay here again and I would highly recommend the house for a family. THere is Wifi which was easily accessed. An outdoor grill (we didn't use), water cooler...and fairly quiet other than the morning work carts that went around early for landscaping, etc. We loved it.

Our favorite vacation Villa

We had a lovely stay at Golf Villa 78. We asked them to have the villa ready with some groceries because we were arriving late. The next morning we woke up to the smell of coffee brewing. Ana prepared us a delicious breakfast every day of our stay and pampered us. We felt like royalty! The villa is spacious and filled with light. The showers had great water pressure and lots of hot water which can be an issue when traveling. We watched sunsets from our patio at cocktail hour and woke up to the sounds of birds chirping. The beach is lovely with clear water and very little surf. The guys loved the golf and said it was some of the best golf they ever played. We will definitely return for another visit.
